After two brilliant remix collections, many collaborations with Hungarian bands (Budapest Bár, Budapest Burlesque, Stereo Swing, Marót Viki és a Nova Kultúr Zenekar, etc.) it was obvious that Oridman will drop something exciting again for the electro swingers all over the world.
This time he delivered a beautifully crafted EP with 3 tracks. As a prominent figure of the Budapest electro swing scene it’s not surprising that his new EP is all about the style. The opening track Flores is an instrumental classic from Ordiman that previously released on the Nu Vintage Selecta compilation as well. The mixture of electronica and a playful bassline with live clarinet instantly works as a movie soundtrack. The following track, Dance With Me is a boosted, and reworked version of Flores, but it’s also more. Ordiman has collaborated with a young and talented local singer Loopy to rebuild the track. The vocals are working very well and creating brand new layers upon the original melodies, to make Dance With Me an absolutely radio friendly song. Hello Girls is a fat and wobbly ghetto-swing bomb with energetic brass and rhythms and it is definitely nice closure of a strong EP.
